Spafford Campbell

Spafford Campbell is a London-based folk duo formed by fiddler Owen Spafford and guitarist Louis Campbell. The two musicians met as teenagers in the first graduating class of the National Youth Folk Ensemble and began playing together in 2018. Their music blends elements of folk, jazz, post-rock and classical chamber music, creating a sound often described as "post-folk" or "trad-noir". The duo seek to push the boundaries of traditional folk by incorporating modern textures and contemporary influences. Following the release of the 102 Metres East EP in 2024, the album Tomorrow Held, released in 2025, reached No. 23 in the UK folk charts.
