Sorisae

Sorisae is a Korean folk duo comprising Kim Kwang-seok and Yoon Ki-hwan. The group has undergone numerous member and name changes over the years. Originally called Solgae Trio, it included Kim and two other members, Han Jeong-seon and Hwang Young-ik. After their third album, they changed the group's name to Sorisae when Han left and was replaced by Han Young. Following their first official album in 1988, which included their hit song "You And I," that member also departed, leaving Kim and Hwang to release a second album in 1992. In 1988, Hwang was replaced by Kim Seung-wan, who later left and was replaced by Yoon Ki-hwan in 2008. Since then, the group has continued as a duo of original member Kim Kwang-seok and Yoon Ki-hwan. They mainly perform Korean folk music and CCM. Demonstrating their longevity, Sorisae has released 16 full albums and 6 singles. Their 2015 album Sorisae Guitar Live 1,2 re-entered Bugs’ Top 100 Folk/Acoustic albums chart at rank 48 during the week of July 7, 2025, ten years after its original release.
