SONIK began as a beatmaker with the La Capsule collective in October 2020, working with several artists from the French-language scene, including Ronisia, Joe Dwet Filé, Yaro and Vegedream. In September 2021, he joined the H24 label as an artist. His musical universe blends Afro influences with urban pop and melodic rap sounds. In 2022, he released his first single"Garanti", followed by"Gin Gaba" in collaboration with Warren Saada. He followed this up with several tracks, including Lie with Lylah,"La paix" (2023),"Emma" (2024) and"Bara " (2025).
