Sofiane

Sofiane Zermani (July 21, 1986), known mononymously as Sofiane or Fianso, is a rapper born in France of Algerian heritage whose debut mixtape Première Claque came out in 2007. He followed up with the mixtapes La Vie de Cauchemar (2009), Blacklist (2011), and Blacklist II (2013). The mixtape #JeSuisPasséChezSo (2017) went to Number 2 on the French Albums Chart and the full-length albums Bandit Saleté (2017) and Affranchis (2018) topped the charts. His 2017 track “Tout l'monde s'en fout” reached Number 3 on the French Singles Chart and “Longue vie” (2018) featuring rappers Ninho and Hornet La Frappe peaked at Number 2. He has collaborated with many other acts and features with Mac Tyler on Kaaris's “Brigantè” (2019), Heuss l'Enfoire's “Khapta” (2019), and RK's “C'est mon sang” (2019). After spearheading the project 93 Empire (2020), a collective album featuring over 40 rappers from the Seine-Saint-Denis area, Sofiane dropped his highly anticipated third studio effort La Direction in 2021. The album featured the track “Case départ,” which climbed to Number 40 on SNEP’s streaming chart.
