Skycamefalling, an American metalcore band from Long Island, New York, formed in 1996. The group self-released their debut demo cassette A Penny for Your Confessions in 1997, which sold over 1,000 copies and caught the attention of Belgian record label Good Life Recordings. Their first EP, ...To Forever Embrace the Sun, was released in 1998 following a recording session at Brass Giraffe studios in New York City. The band's full-length album, 10:21, was released in 2000 through Ferret Music and received positive reviews from both fans and critics. Skycamefalling toured extensively for nearly two years, including a stint on Warped Tour, before disbanding in 2003 due to lack of interest. Their self-titled EP was released later that year. After a seven-year hiatus, four of the five founding members reunited in 2010 and performed at various events.
