Daryl Jake Borja Ruiz, known professionally as Skusta Clee, was born on 16 February 1996 in Upper Bicutan, Philippines. From a young age, he was drawn to the local rap scene, honing his flow in informal gatherings before gaining wider attention. His breakthrough came with the 2018 single "Pauwi Nako", which quickly accumulated millions of streams and positioned him as a rising figure in Asian hip hop. The following months saw the release of "Sa Susunod Na Lang" and "Zebbiana", cementing his presence on regional charts. In 2021, Skusta Clee released the song "Lagi". The single "Dance With You" from 2020 topped local charts and earned critical acclaim. His subsequent work continued to chart, with "Kalimutan Ka" released in early 2025. Throughout his career, Skusta Clee received multiple award nominations for Best Hip Hop Artist and Best Collaboration, reflecting his influence on the contemporary Philippine music landscape.
