Shalom "Shuli" Rand, born on February 8, 1962 in Bnei Brak, Israel, is a singer and actor known for his contributions to Jewish music. After attending the Or Etzion yeshiva and serving in the Israeli army, Shalom "Shuli" Rand pursued acting at the Nissan Nativ Acting Studio in Tel Aviv. His breakthrough in music came after the release of his debut album Nekuda Tova (2008), which sold over 30,000 copies within four months and was awarded a gold record in Israel. The album featured songs composed by Shalom "Shuli" Rand based on the teachings of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. Following this success, Shalom "Shuli" Rand released Shuli Rand Live (2010), Back and Forth (2018), and Shuli Sings Benayoun (2022)
