Shin Mi-rae (born Shin Eun-jin on August 17, 1990) is a South Korean trot singer and physical therapist. She made her debut on December 18, 2014, with the digital single "사랑이 필요합니다 (I Need Love)" and quickly gained recognition for her nostalgic yet refreshing voice. Frequently appearing on music programs until 2015, she became a regular performer on KBS1’s Gayo Stage from 2016 onward and has since participated in various entertainment shows and events. Shin Mi-rae is often referred to as the "Little Sim Soo-bong" for her ability to evoke the sentimentality of the 1960s and 1970s. Her warm and soothing vocal tone has also earned her nicknames such as "Vocal Fairy," "Vocal Witch," and "Human Phonograph" due to her voice resembling the sound of vintage records from the 1940s. She gained further popularity through her appearance on Trot National Championship, where her unique timbre captivated audiences. She is best known for singing K-trot and manyo (Korean chanson), but she also excels in yuhyeongga (pop-style trot) and traditional trot. Her discography includes singles such as "Tick-Tock" (2021), "In Good Season" (2022), "Elegant Love" (2022), "I CHAM" (2024), and "Tears All of Sudden" (2025).
