Shefi Yishai, born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1954, is a singer and composer. His career began with significant involvement in theater as a musical director, working on productions such as Sanjer at the Habima Theater and The Last Striptease at the Tsavta Theater. Yishai's first solo album, Love and Hate, was released in 1991 and featured his compositions set to poems by Israeli poets. His second solo album, A Man Would Not Talk About It, followed in 2010. Throughout his career, Shefi Yishai has collaborated with notable artists such as David Broza and Yehuda Poliker, contributing as a session musician and producer. He also composed music for various theatrical productions, including works at the Herzliya Theater and the Haifa Theater.
