Shanel Hill, whose full name is Shanel Hilaricus Vautor, is a singer, actress and voice-over artist born in January 1994 in New Jersey, USA. Originally from Martinique, she is active in the field of Caribbean and urban pop, blending Caribbean and international influences. She made her stage debut in 2001 at the age of 7, opening the SACEM Awards ceremony alongside pianist Ronald Tulle. In 2005, she took part in a Haitian album in tribute to the victims of a plane crash, then lent her voice to various advertising and audiovisual projects. In 2017, she released her first single,"Press Play", in collaboration with DJ FLY, and the following year they released "Child of the Island" together. In 2020, Shanel Hill released her most popular single"Pa Bizwen Palé", and collaborated with other artists from the Caribbean scene such as Keros-N and Kima.
