Shae Jones

Shae Jones, born July 27, 1968, in the United States of America, is an American singer who emerged from a background of community choir participation and private vocal coaching. She entered the professional scene after being discovered by R&B star Montell Jordan in the late 1990s, who noted her distinctive vocal timbre; this led to a contract with Universal Records. Her debut single "Talk Show Shhh!" reached Number 88 on the Billboard Hot 100 in early 1999. The full-length album Talk Show followed on January 26, 1999, cementing her presence in contemporary R&B and soul music. During this period, Jones contributed background vocals to projects by Sisqó, Gina Thompson, Tamia, Whitney Houston, and participated in the Phil Collins tribute Urban Renewal. While no further solo releases appeared after Talk Show, her work continued to circulate within the industry, and her collaborations maintained her visibility on the American R&B scene.
