sendai☆syrup is a Japanese female local idol group. Based in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, the group was formed in 2014 mainly by special students of Dolly Music Artist School. 8 members were formed, but 5 members were selected for their debut: Reina Kikuchi, Yona Sato, Moeka Tachibana, Ruka Aizawa, and Saki Ishikawa, and then the members repeatedly left the group, eventually leaving Sato Anna, Kana Sato, and DJ Hinata, who joined later. All members are from Miyagi Prefecture, and made their indies debut in June 2014 with their first single, "Ai to yobu yatteiru" (They call it love). After Tachibana's hiatus, they released their first album "Syrup☆syrup" in April 2015. in early 2016, they released their second single "Go! Syrup-go☆" was released, followed in April by the third single "Batchkoi! Syrup☆" followed in August, followed by the release of their 4th single "Tanabata no Yakusoku" in August, but shortly after, the graduation of Kikuchi, Aizawa, and Ishikawa was announced, and in March of the following year, the group announced an indefinite hiatus.
