Selman Faris is a French producer of Turkish origin. Born in Paris, he practiced several instruments at the conservatory and continued his musical training in Los Angeles at CalArts. Active on the French electro scene since 2016, he collaborates with rappers such as Hologram Lo', Alpha Wann and K.S.A., for whom he produces sound samples. In 2022, he released his first EP, Neva, on his own label Kiraz Records, before collaborating with Stromae. Composer of film scores such as Les Etoiles Vagabondes and L'Etrange histoire de Mr. Anderson (with Laylow and Osman Mercan), Selman Faris is also very active on the international stage. In 2024, he teamed up with the Roche Musique label and released the single "Şehir Uzakta", followed in April 2025 by the album Kaplan (Voyage Vers l'Est), where his various Eastern and modern influences come together.
