Şehinşah

Ufuk Yıkılmaz (December 27, 1986) is a Turkish rapper and songwriter who performs under the name Şehinşah. Born and raised in the city of Kemah, he developed a passion for hip-hop at a very young age and began writing his first rhymes in his teenage years. He made his official debut in 2006 with the album HaremeynAlamut, followed by Kapatıyoruz Mixtape in 2012, and 2016's DEEV, entirely produced by frequent collaborator DJ Artz. In 2017, he rose to national prominence thanks to the single "Karma," which put him at the forefront of the Turkish burgeoning trap scene. In the following years, Şehinşah became one of the biggest crossover successes in his country's recent musical history through popular singles like "Yak Yak Yak" (2018), "Kıskanç" (2019) with Kubilay Karça, and "Pirana" (2019). Following the release of the album 666 in 2020, he entered the local charts once again with a feature on Sagopa Kajmer's "Bla Bla Bla Bla," which reached Number 15 in Turkey.
