She became an ambassador for Boat Race Heiwajima in 2015 and released her first jazz album in 2016, collaborating with Grammy-winning trumpeter Randy Brecker. From 2020, she embraced a new chapter as a singer-songwriter, releasing again and organizing the online festival Yell For All Fes!!. She continued to build momentum with Vogue (2021), her first national tour in 2022, and a 20th anniversary live in 2023. In 2024, Kamizono unveiled her first full original album You’re the One. Among its highlights is the track “Blue Rosa”(2025), showcasing her mature artistry and renewed direction as a self-driven creator.
