Say She She

An all-female soul trio hailing from New York's Brooklyn neighborhood, Say She She came into being in 2019. Consisting of Piya Malik (ex-Michels Affair), Sabrina Mileo Cunningham and Nya Gazelle Brown, the group brings together various shades of soul, from psychedelic soul to disco to 1970s funk and smooth soul. To accompany them on stage, the trio is supported by musicians from the bands The Dap Kings, Chicago Batman and Orgone, and together they record the album Prism (2022), produced by guitarist Bardo Martinez, member of the band Chicago Batman, for the Karma Chief Records label. The next album, Silver (2023), is twice as long, with sixteen tracks. It is produced by Sergio Rios of the band Orgone. It includes the bilingual neo-disco track "C'est Si Bon", featured on a double single with the previously unreleased "I Believe in Miracles " in 2024. Following the release of a session in the KEXP radio studio in 2023 with the Live at KEXP EP, the trio continued in the same vintage vein with Cut & Rewind, released in October 2025.
