Winner of the 23rd edition of Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2024, singer Sarah Toscano, also known by her first name, was born in Vigevano, Lombardy, on January 9, 2006. She began studying piano at the age of five, and also took an interest in both international and Italian pop. A ranked tennis player, she preferred to devote herself to singing, abandoning her studies to record her first songs and try her luck, unsuccessfully, at the Sanremo Festival in the young talent section. In 2022, she released her first EP , Riflesso, before auditioning for Amici Di Maria De Filippi in autumn 2023. During her participation in the show, she released the dance pop single "Sexy Magica" (no. 83) and the EP Sarah (no. 12), featuring a cover of Barbara Pravi's "VoilĂ ". Consecrated the winner on May 18, 2024, she embarks on a summer tour, opening for Black Eyed Peas in Milan, at the same time as releasing the track "Roulette", followed by "Tacchi (fra le dita)" (unrated). After a duet with Bea and her Business ("Safety Net"), the singer takes part in the 75th edition of the Sanremo Festival, placing 17th with the track "Amarcord". Inspired by Federico Fellini's 1973 film, the Merk & Kremont-produced song reached number 19 in the charts in February 2025. After collaborating the same year on Carl Brave's "Perfect", Sarah Toscano signs "Taki" (no. 82) and "Semplicemente" with Mida for the Riv4li series (no. 46). These singles appear on the Met Gala album, released on October 3, 2025, which reaches no. 6 in Italy.
