Sally Shapiro

Sally Shapiro is the pseudonym of a Swedish vocalist and the name of the Italo disco duo composed of Shapiro and musician Johan Agebjörn. Their debut album Disco Romance was released in 2006 and received strong reviews from prominent music blogs including Pitchfork. In spring 2008, Sally Shapiro embarked on a short DJ tour but later decided not to perform live again due to personal preferences. The duo's subsequent albums include My Guilty Pleasure (2009), Somewhere Else (2013), and Sad Cities (2022). Notable singles include "Miracle" (2009) and "If You Ever Wanna Change Your Mind" (2016), which was intended to be their final release. The duo returned from retirement in 2018 with a collaboration with Ryan Paris called "Love On Ice".
