Sahir Montoya

Sahir Montoya is a Regional Mexican singer-songwriter hailing from Monterrey, Nuevo León. From a young age, he showcased a natural affinity for music, teaching himself to play instruments like the guitar through online tutorials and participating in his school's estudiantina. Inspired by artists such as Ariel Camacho and the sierreño style of Miguel y Miguel, Sahir Montoya began crafting his unique sound. His professional breakthrough came with his involvement in the BÉLICO INDIE project, which spotlighted emerging talents in the corrido bélico genre. Sahir Montoya's innovative approach led him to coin the term "corridos adiamantados" to describe his distinctive style. His 2025 track "La P-90" garnered significant attention, amassing millions of streams and establishing his presence on social media platforms. Subsequent releases, including "Me Visto Caro," "El Kiru," "Pin Pon," and "Mustangson," further solidified his reputation for blending traditional corrido elements with contemporary sounds. Collaborations with artists like Ryan Milo on "Antología" and participation in live sessions, such as Fonovisa Live Sessions, have expanded his reach.
