Saâda Bonaire was a German musical group formed in Brême in 1982, consisting of DJ Ralph "von" Richtoven and singers Stephanie Lange and Claudia Hossfeld. The trio created a unique sound blending world music influences with electronic elements, featuring local musicians from the immigration center. Signed to EMI, Saâda Bonaire recorded their debut album with producer Dennis Bovell, including the single "You Could Be More As You Are", produced at Kraftwerk's studio and featuring saxophonist Charlie Mariano. Despite EMI's decision not to release the album due to internal disputes, Saâda Bonaire disbanded in 1983. In 2013, Captured Tracks released their debut album, Saâda Bonaire, which included two previously released singles and eleven unreleased tracks recorded between 1982 and 1985.
