Ryoko Shintani, born on March 31, 1981, in Kanazawa, Japan, is a voice actress and singer best known for her energetic performances and cheerful persona. After graduating from Seiryo High School, she moved to Tokyo and enrolled in the voice acting course at Nihon Kogakuin College. During her studies, she co-founded the group Meemee Moo and gained early experience through radio and live events. Shintani's professional breakthrough came when she won a grand prize audition for the game Prism Palette. Although the game was delayed and eventually canceled, she was invited to audition for the cross-media franchise Galaxy Angel. She landed the leading role of Milfeulle Sakuraba, which marked her official debut as a voice actress. She simultaneously began hosting the TV program Gamers Express, further raising her profile. In 2002, she debuted as a singer with the mini-album Pink no Bambi, launching a parallel career in music. In 2004, she founded her fan club PINK☆ROCKS. She continued to release solo works, including the 2012 mini-album BANDScore under the name “Ryoko Shintani with PBB.” Her 2025 release "STARting −from rebirth−" marks a new chapter in her career, reflecting both her longevity and creative evolution in the entertainment industry.
