RyanDan

RyanDan, the Canadian classical‑crossover duo formed by identical twin brothers Ryan Kowarsky and Dan Kowarsky, were born on 5 December 1979 in Toronto, Ontario; Ryan is the elder by three minutes and left‑handed while Dan is right‑handed. Growing up in a musically inclined Jewish family, the twins were exposed to opera and pop from an early age, a background that shaped their vocal style. Their first commercial breakthrough came with the single "Like The Sun" in September 2007, which preceded the release of their full‑length album RyanDan (2007‑09‑24), recorded with producer Steve Anderson and released under Universal Records. The album entered the UK Top 10 and achieved Gold status in the United Kingdom, Canada and Hong Kong, marking the first time an identical‑twin duo reached the UK Top 10. Subsequent releases included the single "O Holy Night" (2007‑12‑03) and "Is Love Enough (To Save the World)"? After touring across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, the duo announced their second album Silence Speaks in 2010. RyanDan’s career has been noted for its blend of classical operatic technique with contemporary pop sensibilities, and for their unique position as the first identical‑twin duo to secure a UK Top 10 album.
