Shylo Millwood aka Russ Millions, Russ Splash or simply Russ, was born in South London in 1992. The British rapper appeared on the scene in 2018 with the tracks "Trick or Treat" in duet with LATTZ and "Gun Lean", solo, which reached No. 9 in the charts. Signed by Virgin, Russ Millions is part of the rising drill movement, highly controversial for its violent lyrics inciting aggression. As such, "Gun Lean" is the first track in the genre to reach the top ten. He is also known for the video in which he performs a dance based on footballers' goal celebrations. In 2019, Russ Millions ranked the duet "Keisha & Becky" with Tion Wayne at number 7. This was followed by "Mr Sheeen " (#28) with Digga D and "VidaLoca" with Pressa & Taze. After the release of the Russ Hour and My Son EPs in 2020, Russ Millions reached the top of the UK charts with Tion Wayne for the track "Body" (2021) and scored other hits such as "Reggae & Calypso" with Buni and YV (2022). 2023 saw the release of the One of a Kind mixtape, featuring chart-topping singles such as "Backseat" and "Baba (Toma Tussi)". 2024 saw the release of the album Shylo and the mixtape OOAK Vol. 1, followed by a second volume in 2025.
