Rapper, producer and actor Rudolph Egnoankou, aka Rudy Rudiction, was born on July 7, 1974 in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. Based in Miami since 1995, Rudy Rudiction made his first recordings with Pete Massitti and released his first singles, including "99'Respect", which toured the nightclubs of Abidjan. He recorded La Force de Rap, which he had hoped to release on his return to his homeland in 2002, but political events forced him to postpone the release. In March 2003, "Tonton Caméléon", a highly committed track, was a success. He opened his own recording studio for future productions and to produce other rappers. In 10 years, Rudy Rudiction recorded 77 songs, including "Haïti", "Mal du Siècle" and "Abidjan, l'Argent, les Gens " (2008) in collaboration with Mokobé. Rudy Rudiction stopped making music in 2013. 2022 marks his return with a Best of vol. 1, featuring 12 tracks previously unavailable on Intenet. In 2023, the artist offers an EP of previously unreleased Pain d'autrui and the single "Baby Mama" .
