ROBI

Hailing from Carolina, Puerto Rico, singer-songwriter Roberto Báez Moraza, better known as ROBI, began releasing independent singles in 2019–2020 while honing a melodic urbano style rooted in the percussion he studied from childhood; early momentum coalesced around his 2022 run, led by the solo single “Antónimos.” A few weeks later he broke globally with “Pantysito,” a viral collaboration with Alejo and Feid issued in March 2022, which amassed massive streams and established him as a versatile pop-reggaetón voice; that same year he followed with the Jay Wheeler duet “Garabatos.” Consolidating his solo presence in 2023, ROBI returned with “Tu Mundo,” pairing glossy synths with confessional lyrics. In 2024 he kept a steady release pace and widened his circle of collaborators: he dropped “TKILA,” featured on Caleb Calloway’s single “0 Millas” alongside Alejo and Moffa, reunited with Alejo for “LA CRUSH,” and scored one of his signature smashes with Young Miko on “sorry es que soy bipolarrr.” Activity accelerated in 2025 with high-profile pop crossovers: he co-led “Lienzo” with Sebastián Yatra, teamed with GALE on “Ysilandia,” and joined Venezuelan singer Kobi Cantillo on the summer single “Ganas de Verte,” while issuing his own singles “OK.,” “Café de Barcelona,” and “Vacaciones” that underscored a shift toward sleek, guitar-flecked pop without abandoning urbano cadences. That run led into a fuller pop turn with late-2025 singles including "si a los 30 seguimos solos" and "DE SASTRE" with Gus and FABIAN. In 2026, ROBI built toward his debut album with "BRRREAK!", "FA-TAL!" with Ivana and "Se me hace imposible olvidarte :(" with Wisin, before releasing sorry si soy GRRRIS through Orion/Interscope in June. Framed by ROBI as the result of a two-year search for his own sound, the album placed him between Puerto Rican pop and urbano, with tracks such as "NI NA’", "RRROTO!" and "jaja, sorry es que me pongo nervioso" extending the emotional, self-questioning tone of his writing.
