Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation

Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation was a British rock band formed in 2001 by Robert Plant. The group initially served as his backing band but became a distinct entity. Their debut album Dreamland was released in 2002, featuring cover versions of other artists' songs and credited solely to Plant. It received positive reviews and earned Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for the track "Darkness, Darkness". In 2005, they released their second studio album Mighty ReArranger, which reached number 4 on the UK Albums Chart and was certified silver by the UK Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The band disbanded in 2007 when Plant collaborated with Alison Krauss on their album Raising Sand.
