Rim'K

Real name Abdelkarim Brahmi-Benalla, born in Paris on June 21, 1978, French rapper Rim'K made his name as a member of the 113 collective, which continued to operate for a dozen years from 1994. Recognized for his track "Tonton du bled" on the album Les Princes de la Ville (1999) and his collaboration with Mafia K'1 Fry (2003-2007), he launched his solo career in 2004 with the album L'Enfant du Pays. Since then, Rim'K has enjoyed growing success with the albums Famille Nombreuse (2007), Maghreb United (No. 7, 2009), Chef de Famille (No. 10, 2012), Monster Tape (No. 7, 2016), recorded in Atlanta, USA, and Fantôme (No. 6, 2017), featuring collaborations with Lartiste, SCH, Sadek and S.Pri Noir, after previous appearances by Booba, Despo Rutti, Lacrim, Alonzo and Nekfeu. Founder of the Frénésik label, relayed by Sony (Jive Epic) and then Universal (Millenium Barclay) labels, the rapper also tries his hand at freestyling on his video channel, multiplying the clips around each track. In 2018, the album Mutant (#6), includes collaborations with Vald, YL, and Ninho on the number one "Air max". Two years later, Rim'K follows up with the trio "Valise" with Koba LaD and SCH. The Midnight EP, released in 2020, was followed by another release in the same format, called ADN and including the track "Cosmos" with PLK (no. 7). Following the release of the Lifat Mat album and collaborations with Kekra, Zamdane, TIF and Sofiane Pamart, the rapper performs the unreleased track "King Kong" at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics in July 2024. He then performed at the Parade of Champions during the closing concert, in front of the Arc de Triomphe. In 2025, Rim'K releases his third EP in a row, Run, featuring the homonymous track with SDM (#11 in France and #42 in Belgium), "Game Plan" with TH and "Au commencement".
