Rémy Adan

Born in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, in the 1990s, Anoh Aimé Ange Daniel Ebalé became known to the Ivorian public under his pseudonym Rémy Adan. As a youngster, he developed his taste for music alongside his mother, a member of his parish choir, and developed a passion for singing. He began studying economics at the Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny in Cocody, then met a group of young artists who offered him a singing role in their group in 2016. The practice was a revelation, and Rémy Adan chose to pursue his solo career from 2018 onwards. While he produced covers of the rapper Dadju, earning him the nickname "Dadju ivoirien", he presented the public with "Juste pour toi" and "Mon mousso" in 2019 within the structure Kolber Prod. The songs, influenced as much by pop and R'n'B as by coupé-décalé rhythms, seduce listeners with their universal themes around love relationships. The singer scored a major hit in 2021 with his hit "Le goût de ", which racked up millions of listens. After graduating with a Master 2, Rémy Adan went on to make a name for himself with his single "Choupompom" and its video clip with Ivorian influencer Emmanuelle Kéita, whose relationship has fueled the celebrity media. With "Une dernière fois" (2023) featuring SenSey, Rémy Adan once again wins over his fans and continues to carve out a place for himself in the Ivorian music industry.
