RD Maravilla

RD Maravilla (Rubén Darío “RD Maravilla”) is a Panamanian urban artist recognized for his mix of reggaeton, dembow, and street humor that connects with both local and international audiences. Before launching into music, he worked driving heavy machinery, while singing at small community events. Encouraged by friends and early collaborators, he began recording with producers who helped shape his raw style into a distinctive sound that soon gained traction across Latin America. His breakthrough came with hits like “Loco, loco” with El Original, “Party en la luna,” “El Goloso,” “Hola Bebé,” and “Déjalo que entre,” which became staples in clubs and radio. His debut album Flow Pesao (2013) showcased both hard-hitting dembow and romantic tracks, establishing him as one of Panama’s most versatile performers. While best known for party anthems, RD Maravilla has also released socially conscious music such as “Historia del Barrio” (2020) with Fulo el Yeyo, highlighting life in working-class neighborhoods.
