Ravex

Ravex, a Japanese electronic music group formed in 2008, consists of Shinichi Osawa, Tomoyuki Tanaka, and record producer DJ Taku Takahashi, who joined forces to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Avex label; the trio’s background in club and studio work had already earned them recognition within Japan’s dance scene. Their breakthrough came with the single "I Rave U" feat. DJ Ozma, released on 17 December 2008, which introduced their collaborative style and set the stage for their debut album Trax, issued on 29 April 2009; the album’s deluxe edition included a DVD of music videos and a short film featuring Osamu Tezuka characters, underscoring the project’s multimedia ambition. Subsequent releases such as the single "Believe in Love" featuring BoA on 18 February 2009 expanded their reach, while the group maintained a presence through live performances and continued partnerships with Avex artists; the group’s work remained aligned with the label’s promotional strategy until their activities tapered in the following years.
