Randolph Rose

Randolph Rose was born in Berlin on March 31, 1954. He is a German pop singer who achieved fame primarily in the 1970s and 1980s. Randolph Rose began his first musical activities in the early 1970s and performed as a singer in the GDR. He moved stylistically between Schlager and German-language pop. His career initially developed in the East German music scene. After moving to the Federal Republic of Germany, he continued his career and focused more on an all-German audience. His repertoire includes classic pop themes such as love and everyday life. His best-known releases include the singles "Nur ein Flirt" and "Silvermoon Baby" (both 1971) as well as "Meilensteine der ersten Liebe" (1972), "Sylvias Mutter" (1972) and "Hey, Amigo, muchas gracias" (1973).
