Preston Wright Long III, known professionally as P.W. Long, is an American musician. He gained recognition as a member of bands such as Wig and Mule. His breakthrough came with Mule's self-titled debut album on Touch and Go Records' sub-label Quarterstick in 1993, featuring tracks like "Mississippi Breaks" and "I'm Hell". Long left Mule in 1996 to form Reelfoot, releasing two albums: We Didn't See You on Sunday (1997) and Push Me Again (1998). After a hiatus, he released his first solo album, Remembered, in 2003. Long also worked as a journalist and documentary filmmaker, earning an award for an industrial documentary at a medical convention in Philadelphia in 2008.
