Psyclon Nine are an American industrial and metal ensemble from California formed in 2000. The group was established by Marshall Goppert, known as “Nero Bellum”, and Josef Heresy after beginning a project titled Defkon Sodomy. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style influenced by KMFDM and Ministry. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Divine Infekt (2003), produced by Da5id Din. They followed this with the studio recording INRI (2005), which reached number 2 on the Hot Topic charts. Their discography includes the studio recordings Crwn thy Frnicatr (2006) and We The Fallen (2009), the latter featuring collaborations with Brandan Schieppati and Gary Zon. The ensemble became inactive in 2010 but resumed activity in 2011.
