The German rapper Prinz Pi, who is also known under the pseudonym Prinz Porno, was born Friedrich Kautz in Berlin-Charlottenburg on October 23, 1979. Since 1998, he has appeared on the Berlin rap scene under various artist names, and first achieved fame in the 2000s with his song "Keine Liebe". After several releases and various projects, the rapper released his EP Instinkt as Prinz Pi in 2006, as well as his album!DonnerwetteR!, which reached number 56 in the same year, his first German chart position. In 2008, Prinz Pi contributed to the song "Der letzte Tanz" by Casper, before releasing his album Neopunk later that year. On January 28, 2011, Prinz Pi released his album Rebell ohne Grund with guest contributions from Frauenarzt and RAF Camora. It enters the German charts at number 9. The album successor Kompass ohne Norden (Compass without North ) became the first top position in the rapper's career in 2013; the 2015 album pp=mc² and Im Westen Nix neues (2016) also reached number 1 in the German charts. After Nichts war umsonst (2017), the album Wahre Legenden is released in 2020, which also features fellow rapper RAF Camora. In the same year, he released the album Mit Abstand under the name Prinz Porno, reaching number 6 in the German charts. In 2023, the album ADHS follows again as Prinz Pi. The album climbed to number 4 in Germany. Two years later, the rapper released the album West-Berlin, which reached number 11 in the charts in Germany.
