Prince Chiu, born on April 14, 1989, in Taichung City, Taiwan, is a multifaceted entertainer known for his roles as a singer, actor, model, and television host. He initially gained fame as a member of the Taiwanese Mandopop boyband Lollipop, which was formed from the reality show Bang Bang Tang. The band saw early success and signed with Gold Typhoon and Channel [V] in 2006, but by 2009, their contract ended and Chiu moved on to work with A Legend Star Entertainment, founded by a former Channel [V] director. Chiu later joined the trio JPM alongside his brother, Mao Di, and Liao Xiao Jie, marking a new phase in his music career with albums like Moonwalk and 365 under Sony Music Taiwan. Chiu's acting career has been equally prolific, debuting in the drama Brown Sugar Macchiato and later appearing in several films and TV dramas, including Attention, Love!. He has also ventured into hosting, debuting his fashion brand, and engaging in philanthropy as an ambassador for the 2010 Asian Games. Throughout his career, Chiu has been involved in various aspects of his projects, from acting to lyric writing, including releasing his solo EP Attention! in 2017 and the single "Candy" in 2025 with Chris Chiu.
