Polina Gagarina

Polina Sergeyevna Gagarina was born in Moscow on 27 March 1987 and began her artistic career as a singer. After winning the second season of Star Factory in 2003, she released her debut single “Kolybelnaya” and the album Poprosi U Oblakov on 12 July 2007, which established her presence in the Russian pop scene. In 2010 she issued the album O Sebe, followed by the 2016 release 9, which topped the iTunes Russia charts. Her 2022 studio album Вдох continued her output of contemporary pop tracks. Polina Sergeyevna Gagarina represented Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015 with the entry “A Million Voices”, finishing second with 303 points and becoming the first non-winning participant to exceed 300 points. She has collaborated with producer Konstantin Meladze on singles such as “Спектакль окончен” and “Навек”, and has served as a coach on The Voice and The Voice Kids, winning the latter’s ninth season. Her career includes appearances in television talent shows, participation in the Chinese reality series Singer 2019, and contributions to official songs for sporting events, notably “Circles and Squares” for the 2021 World Figure Skating Championships.
