Plox

Plox is the stage name of Chilean DJ and producer Paolo Cerda, a Rancagua native who began sharing originals on SoundCloud in the mid-2010s, including “Vive La Vida” (2015) and the club-ready single “Gózalo” (2018). He broke through nationwide attention in 2022 with “La Consentida,” a house-meets-guaracha cut first posted around Chile’s Fiestas Patrias and distributed digitally, which subsequently spread across streaming platforms, establishing his name in the country’s party circuit. Building on that momentum, Plox teamed with fellow Chilean DJ Pablito Pesadilla for “Un Año Más,” released in December 2023, and appeared in 2024 alongside producer Chilldeiv on the single “Tuenti,” signaling a shift toward collaborative guaracha and urbano-leaning projects. A busy 2025 followed: he issued the solo single “Tralala” in May, returned with the punchy “La Policía” later that month, and expanded his collaborative streak through “En Mis Sueños” with Nickla 12 and the guaracha heater “Tay Seguro Waton.” He rounded out the run with “Dame Un,” a DJ Rocka collaboration from 2025, while continuing to DJ across Chile and highlight a sound rooted in house grooves, guaracha cadence, and local fiesta culture.
