Pizza

A Russian pop band Pizza was formed by Sergey Prikazchikov in 2010 in Moscow. He was joined by his sister Tatiana Prikazchikova (keyboard, violin) and Nikolay Smirnov (guitar). Prikazchikov is a lead singer and songwriter of the band. The first Pizza’s single «Пятница» (‘Friday’), released in 2011, became a radio hit, next tracks «Оружие» (‘Arms’) and «Фары» (‘Headlights’) were also loved by audience. In 2012, Pizza’s debut album Кухня (Kitchen) came out followed by На всей планете Земля (Across the Planet Earth) in 2014. «Лифт» (‘Elevator’), «Вторник» (‘Thursday’), «Человек из зеркала» (‘Man from the Mirror’) got heavy radio rotation, Pizza was awarded as Breakthrough of the Year by OOPS! Choice Awards and Muz-TV, the track «Лифт» became Song of the Year. The album Zavtra (Tomorrow) was presented in 2016, one of the songs – «Лети» (‘Fly’) – Prikazchikov performed together with Bianka. In the same years, Pizza released joint work with Nigativ – the song entitled «Не люблю» (‘I Do Not Love’), with L’One – the song «Мир» (‘World’) and the track «Берега» ('Shore') recorded together with rapper ST. The album Основано на нереальных событиях (Based on Unreal Events) came out in 2020. Pizza’s music is a combination of rap, soul, reggae, funk, and pop, Prikazchikov himself calls his music style an Urban Soul.
