A journalist on all musical fronts, from Télérama to CD'aujourd'hui, Philippe Barbot moved over to the other side of the fence in 2006, unveiling his first compositions at concerts and festivals. The songs, long kept in drawers or tested on the sly in various bands, finally blossomed on the album Point Barre, released in January 2012. In good company (Robert Wyatt, Fred Pallem...), the converted critic distills an album of songs infused with his taste for folk, rock and country.
