David Kennedy, known professionally as Pearson Sound, is a British producer and DJ born in 1988. Kennedy released music under the names Ramadanman and Maurice Donovan before adopting the Pearson Sound alias in 2008. Their breakthrough occurred with the release of FabricLive.56: Pearson Sound / Ramadanman (2011). Kennedy's recordings include the singles âDeep Insideâ (2011), âXLBâ (2016), and the self-titled album Pearson Sound (2015). The single âXLBâ reached number 2 on the Resident Advisor tracks of the year list. Kennedy founded the record label Hessle Audio in 2007 with Ben Thomson and Kevin McAuley.
