Patsy Biscoe was born in 1946, in Shimla, India, and is an Australian singer. She moved to Australia during the Partition of India and settled in Sydney before moving to Sandy Bay in Hobart. Patsy's first LP The Voice of Patsy Biscoe was released in 1966 with CBS Records. Biscoe gained prominence through her appearances on children's television shows such as Here's Humphrey and Fat Cat and Friends. She released numerous albums featuring nursery rhymes and childrenâs songs, including Once Upon A Time With Patsy Biscoe (1989) and 150 Favourite Nursery Rhymes (2021). Throughout her career, she sold over 500,000 units of her music. Biscoe was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2016 for her services to music and her local community
