Park Joon-yong

Park Joon-yong, born Jun-yeong Park on March 12, 1982, in Busan, South Korea, is a singer known for his work in J-pop and K-pop, with a style that blends both traditional Japanese enka. Before his solo career, he was part of two different K-pop bands in South Korea that eventually disbanded. His breakthrough came when Japanese enka singer George Yamamoto discovered him performing independently in western Japan. Park Joon-yong's debut single "Ai – Que Sera Sera" was released on March 7, 2012, under the King Records label and reached number 109 on the Oricon music chart. His second single "Chara" followed on March 13, 2013, peaking at number 44 on the same chart. On the release day of "Chara", Park Joon-yong embarked on a tour covering all 47 prefectures of Japan to promote the single. Throughout his career, he released several EPs and albums, including チャラ/あなたしか欲しくない (2013), 嘆きの雨/たかが恋、されど愛 (2013), 顔 (2014), "永遠にサランヘヨ" (Aタイプ) (2019), and Kawaita Machi (2023).
