Panic Shack

Panic Shack are a punk band from Cardiff, Wales, formed in 2018 and made up of Sarah Harvey (vocals), Romi Lawrence and Meg Fretwell (guitars), Emily Smith (bass) and Nick Doherty-Williams (drums). Known for their boundless energy, humorous lyrics and DIY aesthetic, they quickly made their mark on the UK punk scene with short, direct and assertive songs, tackling themes such as sexism, drag culture and the absurdities of everyday life. Their debut single "Who's Got My Lighter?" is released in 2019, followed by several tracks that capture the attention of BBC Radio 6 Music and other media. In 2022, they release their debut EP Baby Shack, which confirms their style as a blend of punk, garage and post-punk, and propels them onto festival stages such as Glastonbury and SXSW. In 2025, they released their debut album of the same name, featuring the singles "Gok Wan", "Girl Band Starter Pack", "Thelma & Louise" and "Pockets".
