Orloge Simard, a Canadian musical group from La Baie in Saguenay, Quebec, was formed in 2012 by Olivier Simard. The group released their first mini-album, Coke calciné, in 2013, which was reissued in 2016 with additional tracks. Their music blends folk, rock, reggae, country, funk, and psychedelia, often featuring uncensored lyrics. Orloge Simard gained recognition through extensive tours across Quebec, performing at notable festivals such as the Festival d'été de Québec and Woodstock en Beauce. In 2017, they released their album Beuvez tousjours, ne mourez jamais and were nominated for the Prix du public at the Gala alternatif de la musique indépendante du Québec. The group's documentary, Saguenay Libre, premiered in 2019, chronicling their tour and artistic journey. In 2020, Orloge Simard released à chacun son Waterloo under L-A be, marking a shift towards a more rock-oriented sound with less vulgar lyrics.
