Odette Michell is a British folk singer from Yorkshire. Singer-songwriter, guitarist, bouzouki player and occasional accordionist, she nourishes her songs with Celtic influences. Her repertoire of intimate songs sung with her clear voice has won her critical acclaim for her debut album The Wildest Rose (2019), released after the EP By Way of Night (2018). Winner of Female Performer of the Year at the FATEA Awards 2020, Odette Michell follows up with The Queen of the Lowlands (2025), an ambitious follow-up featuring ten original compositions, including collaborations with Ninebarrow, Calum Gilligan, Chris Leslie and Phil Beer.
