October Project

October Project, an American pop rock band based in New York City, was formed in 1989 by Julie Flanders, Emil Adler, and Mary Fahl. The group gained a following performing at downtown Manhattan music clubs. In 1993, they signed with Epic Records and released their debut album October Project, featuring the singles "Bury My Lovely" and "Return To Me", which appeared in the soundtrack of Blown Away. Their second album, Falling Farther In, was released in 1995. After a US tour, their contract with Epic Records was terminated in 1996, leading to the band's disbandment. Flanders and Adler formed November Project, releasing an EP A Thousand Days in 1999 before disbanding in 2000. October Project reunited in 2001, later releasing the EP Different Eyes in 2003. The band continued to perform and release new material, including the EP Uncovered in 2011.
