OBK, a Spanish synthpop group from Barcelona, was formed in 1990 by Jordi Sánchez and Miguel Arjona. Influenced by bands like Yazoo, OMD, and Depeche Mode, OBK debuted with the mini-album Llamalo Sueño (Call it a dream) on Konga Music in 1991, which sold over 400,000 copies in Spain and included the hit single "Historias de amor" (Love stories). Their subsequent albums, including Momentos de fe (Moments of faith) and TrilogÃa, were released with Blanco y Negro Music and EMI respectively. Despite initial success, sales declined with later releases like Donde el corazón nos lleve. In 1998, the compilation album Singles 91-98 marked a resurgence in popularity, leading to the release of Antropop in 2000, which sold over 300,000 copies in Spain. Notable singles include "Tu sigue asÃ" and "El cielo no entiende".
