Nono La Grinta

Nono La Grinta, whose real name is Noé Alexandre Kasiama, was born on February 5, 2006, in Paris’s 10th arrondissement and grew up in the 19th arrondissement, a neighborhood that has become central to his lyrics and image. Of Kino-Congolese and Egyptian descent, he began rapping in 2020 with the NJK collective before going solo. In 2023, Nono La Grinta launched his solo career with the EP 75022, then solidified his status with La Quoiii?, driven by “La Quoi?”, recorded with La Mano 1.9 and certified gold in France. In 2024, he released On the Radar, built around two freestyles, followed by La Griiint, where his direct rap style remains close to drill and trap. In 2025, Nono La Grinta expanded his range with Restart, a more melodic project led by “Paris .” The track became one of his major hits, reaching No. 2 in France, entering the Belgian, Swiss, and Luxembourg charts, and earning a diamond certification after fueling the euphoria surrounding Paris Saint-Germain’s European title. That same year, “Terrain” was certified gold, while “Love You” reached the top 3 in France and also went diamond. In 2026, he also used the pseudonym Black Cat for several singles, including “BMW” and “Na Za Désolé, ” both of which were certified gold. Under the name Nono La Grinta, he then released his first full-length studio album, *The Cat*, on MPR Records, featuring fourteen tracks and a guest appearance by Merveille on “Confiant.”
