Nona Gaye

Nona Gaye, daughter of the legendary Marvin Gaye, is an American singer, model and actress born in Washington D.C. on September 4, 1974. She launched her musical career in the early 1990s with the album Love for the Future (1992), which included the single " I'm Overjoyed", her biggest hit, produced by Prince. The song reached #17 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (#86 on the Billboard Hot 100). Nona Gaye went on to pursue a career in film, notably in Ali (2001) and the Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions movies. She is also known for her collaborations with Prince in the mid-1990s.
