Niykee Heaton

Nicolet Aleta Heaton, known professionally as Niykee Heaton, was born on December 4, 1994, in Chicago, Illinois. She is an American singer who began her musical journey at a young age, writing her first song at five and teaching herself to play the guitar by nine. Heaton gained initial recognition through her YouTube channel, where she posted acoustic covers of contemporary hits, many from the hip-hop genre. Her cover of "Love Sosa" by Chief Keef went viral in December 2012, leading to meetings with several record labels. In September 2014, Heaton released her debut EP, Bad Intentions, which topped the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 chart and reached number 10 on the U.S. iTunes Store. She embarked on her first headlining tour, The Bedroom Tour, in late 2015 and followed it with The Centerfold Tour in 2016.
